Morning all.
I went down to the river yesterday and it was clearly time for my annual Friends of the Liesbeek appreciation!
From the initial building of the reed bed as a flooding overflow to last years wet land (in front of the Wild Fig) to divert high water away from the main stream.
I’m sure we would have had flooded houses and not just roads and drive ways without their planning and hard work. (This photo is from in front of the Fig!)
