E-waste refers to electronic waste including electric and electronic toys, e-cigarettes, power tools, wearables, smart home gadgets or cables. These items can be safely disposed of at drop-off sites accepting e-waste.
Additional resources:
Normal drop-offs do not accept batteries or CFL/LED bulbs. Please make use of the Athlone or Bellville Refuse Transfer Stations or retailers that offer take-back services.

The Institute of Waste Management South Africa is also holding an e-waste collection day on Saturday, 4 November in Pinelands.
