Zoning violation complaint – Erf 27883 Observatory

Dear Mr Mupariwa
 
I am not sure who should be receiving this Zoning violation complaint regarding the development at 289 Lower Main Road, Observatory, 7925; erf 27883.

It is evident that there is no way the intended use of the property can be considered consistent with the MPT condition that “the use of the bedrooms is limited to the backpacker’s lodge only.” The one advert clearly encourages rental for extended periods, with a surcharge for short-term rentals, so it is clearly marketed as an apartment, not as a backpacker. The header actually states “apartment/Flat in Observatory”.
 
Your attention to this matter is appreciated. Can you confirm receipt and advise who will be investigating this matter?
