The entire pool basin was condemned and is being revamped including replacement of outlet piping ,valves ,expansion-joints , scum-channels and retiling of pool walls and floor.
Filters ,pumps and motors including replacement of cast iron ducting and valves that control water flow to and from pool basin are still to be done.
Further excavation has to be undertaken to track and trace piping from the filtration system ,linking to inlet supply for the entire network to be replaced. Because this extent is still to be established, we can’t confirm a completion date as yet.
Once this project is completed everyone can once again enjoy this overdue facility.
