Encounters has heard word from Michiel and Donovan that there is a Jazz Jam Session at “A Touch of Madness” in Observatory this evening @ 7:30pm. Dutch Filmmaker, Michiel ten Kliej will be there to promote his film: “Playing the Changes: Tracking Darius Brubeck” a documentary that revolves around Darius Brubeck, son of jazz musician Dave Brubeck, and Darius’s wife Catherine as they are ‘playing the changes’ through their life in music, education and personal diplomacy.
The award-winning documentary will be screening at the following venues in Cape Town: The V&A Ster Kinekor (Thursday), Bertha House Khayelitsha (Saturday) in Cape Town. Screening details can be found at www.encounters.co.za
