The Observatory Civic Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting on
Date: Tues 26th November
Venue: Observatory Community Centre Hall
Time: 6pm to 8pm
Please note that to vote in the AGM you have to be a paid-up member of the OCA. You can apply for or renew your membership online, or at the OCA tables at Spar which will be held every Saturday in November from 11 am to 1 pm outside Spare in Station Rd. Remember, current membership lapses before the AGM so current members must renew membership before the 26th of November.
We will be allowing membership sign-ups on the day of the AGM between 5 pm and 5.45 pm but we urge you to renew your membership before the AGM.
Anyone wishing to submit a resolution for consideration at the AGM should do so by Sat November 16th and send the proposal to [email protected].
Nominations for positions on the OCA Management Committee must be received by Tuesday the 19th of November and can be sent to [email protected]. Details of nomination procedures and nomination forms are available on the OCA website HERE, as are short descriptions of the various portfolios.
The Observatory community is facing many challenges now. But it is also a time of opportunity to build democratic institutions and give voice to the community. So, please do attend the AGM on 26th November.
