How to grow the most beautiful clivias

Piet Theron, a clivia cultivator and show champion from George, says you don’t need expert knowledge to have this beautiful plant in your garden.

“Our native clivias are not only beautiful garden plants that will thrive in almost any temperate climate but are also ideal indoor plants. They bloom for several weeks from late winter to deep into spring in indirect light, shady walkways, and even in deep shade. There are six species that we know of, namely C. gardenii, C. robusta, C. caulescens, C. mirabilis, C. miniata, and C. nobilis.
