Steven Stead (My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music) directs KickstArt Theatre’s award-winning pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, which comes to Cape Town for the first time to bring their winter holiday magic, ideal for the whole family! Join Jack on a magical journey packed with toe-tapping songs, side-splitting laughs and dazzling sets. It stars William Young, Roshanda Lewis, and Blessing Xaba, and it has a stellar cast. Myth, memory and an ancient ecology: Unruly

The legendary Andrew Buckland returns to The Baxter, in Unruly, a powerful storytelling experience starring Buckland and Chantal Willie-Petersen. This immersive work explores what happens when humans and baboons clash on the Cape Peninsula. Directed by the multi-award-winning Neil Coppen (Isidlamlilo/ The Fire Eater), produced by Empatheatre and with an original score by Braam DuToit, this performance blurs the boundaries between species, myth and science.
