We are celebrating Women’s Day by bringing people together, raising funds for @rapecrisis_capetown , an organisation who is actively working to combat Gender Based Violence and Femicide, and providing support for survivors.
Wathint’ Abafazi will run as a festival, with a femme-dominated musical lineup running through the day and into the evening. The event will be open to children until 7pm, with a market, acoustic performances and braai facilities available.
The programme:
1pm – 4.30pm: Acoustic performances, market, bring-and-braai – fun for all ages!
5pm: bands kick off! Open to all ages.
7pm: Strictly 18+
