Petty crime and (often opportunistic) house break ins increase every year over the “silly season”.
It’s also the season when we feel the most relaxed.
Please remember to be extra vigilant about:
locking vehicles
not leaving items in vehicles
checking electric gates & garages close properly
turning on your alarms (if you have them)
looking out for each other
OBSID takes on a greater burden each year – so please help them by being vigilant and reducing how attractive Obs can be to opportunistic criminals.
Remember to report emergencies or service needs directly to the correct authorities and contact OBSID directly (not via groups).
