The next meeting of the OCA committee is 6.30pm Tuesday 27 February, at the Obs Community Centre. (You can get minutes from our last meeting here.)

Quick updates:

Open Streets: A reminder that Sunday 28 February will see Main Road closed to traffic from Groote Schuur all the way to District Six. This promises to be a wonderful day for the community. More info here.

Obs Water Census: Though ‘Day Zero’ has been postponed, our water crisis is far from over. Obs civics have banded together to map out our community’s water needs. We ask that everyone takes five minutes to fill out the Obs Water Census here: tinyurl.com/WaterCensusObs.

River Club heritage presentation: Feedback from the 14 February River Club heritage presentation is here. The meeting pack from that presentation is here.

Malta Park & City water crisis feedback: The OCA had strong representation at two recent meetings, concerning the fencing in of Malta Park and a City-convened information session for neighbourhood watches. The reportbacks from OCA Chairperson Tauriq Jenkins are here.

The month of March promises to be just as busy!

Please feel welcome to join us at the Obs Community Centre at 6.30pm on Tuesday 27 February.
