Everyone 18 and over is eligible to get vaccine. Vaccines reduce chances of transmission and prevent severe disease and death. They are our best bet to stop C19 before it comes up with a new variant that causes chaos.

WCDoH Dr Keith Cloete encourages over 50s to get the C19 vaccine “urgently” as this group has the most hospital admissions and deaths. According to provincial data, 68% of hospital admissions and 87% of deaths recorded in the third wave are among the over-50s.
