We had a company CSI event today at Obs Junior School to help them strengthen the success of their food garden. It was originally established by Urban Harvest about 12 years ago and they have managed to keep it going ever since (although a bit smaller than the original). It was so good to meet a passionate teacher in Mrs Clayton and the kids who love working in the garden. The food mainly goes into their feeding scheme but there is occasionally surplus which they sell to help fund the maintenance of the garden. I did mention that they should let me know if they do have surplus as I was sure the neighbours and our community would love to support their efforts!
