We have made some amendments to our Events By-law, 2016, and we want to hear from you.
The 2024 amendments to our Events By- law seek to:
- provide for the classification of certain types of events as City Protected Events;
- provide for Council exemption from specific by-laws for City Protected Events; and
- empower the Event Permit Officer with discretion to make certain decisions related to event safety requirements and deal with fraudulent and dishonest actions…
