Statistics South Africa has announced that the final phase for Census 2022 has been extended to 14 May 2022 to allow residents from the Western Cape to be accurately counted.
We encourage you to please take part in the Census 2022 as the data is critical for City planning and has significant implications for the Western Cape and Cape Town budget allocations as well as on service delivery.
There are two options now open for enumeration:
– Face-to-face enumeration where fieldworkers will visit your home and complete a questionnaire with you.
– Self-enumeration by completing the questionnaire and answering questions in the comfort of your own home: https://getcounted.statssa.gov.za/#!/home (data-free).
