Femicide: A Country in Crisis brings together moving footage from anti-GBV protests and candlelight vigils, including a gathering at UCT, with the voices of women speaking out about fear, loss and the urgent need for change.
Their pleas are interwoven with radio commentary from 702’s Bongani Bingwa and Clement Manyathela, as well as CapeTalk presenters John Maytham and Lester Kiewit, reflecting on the women who have been murdered and the broader crisis of gender-based violence in South Africa.
