One of Cape Town’s quaint old towns, Simon’s Town, is looking for a new generation of residents to make sure that the town’s stories are not lost. This request for volunteers comes from the Simon’s Town Historical Society, which has been preserving the area’s heritage for more than 65 years.
Esther le Roux, the newly elected chairperson, is encouraging people of all ages, especially those who reside in Simon’s Town, to get involved in documenting and protecting the history of this historic maritime town…
